THIS IS FOR ALL MAPLERS WHO HATE HACKING

Everyone has been hearing about how Tiger, Maple Story's Number One Ranking Player, got hacked. If he stumbles upon this thread, I offer you my sincerest apoligy, Tiger. If you flame him, just imagine how long it took him to get to Number One and then have some inconsiderate cheater get into his account and mess it up.

If Tiger can get hacked, then anyone can get hacked. The player you spent so much time and money on can be gone after being hacked.

Maple Story is always priding itself with it supposed 'safe' community.

Well, if you can get hacked and lose everything you had in the game, including NX Cash in which you bought with your own money, it is not safe. The hackers are not only messing up your account, they are also stealing real money that you spent in order to support Maple Story.

To tell you the truth, I don't feel safe playing Maple Story anymore now that Tiger got hacked.

So people, lets try to get the GM's attention and demand that they make Maple Story the safe and fair environment they say it is.

I agree they need to make MS safer but you can't put this all on the GMs. The GM don't have the power to make MS more secure. Their job is to stop hackers if they see then and to make our gaming exp. more fun. System admins. would be the ones to implement the security guidelines for the servers not the GM.

We have to take some of the blame. Do you have a secure password? Do you go to sketchy websites that might have virus/keylogger? I doubt MS is getting hacked directly. If they are it is all Wizet's fault. If the hacks are originating from the client side... Its maining our fault.
